For the essay, we had to come up with a subject that was connected to our chosen world press photo (see the first page). The aircraft on the flooded tarmac was an image that made me stop and look at it for a couple of moments. I was mostly intrigued by my own mind, who fooled me and that got me interested to do research on how illusions shape what we see.
